SPOT Personal Messenger & Emergency Device
Whether you’re outback farming, bush walking or just travelling the countryside spot is for you!
How SPOT Works?
-
When you press the OK, HELP or 000 button SPOT will send your GPS coordinates.
-
SPOT sends its messages via satellite to SPOT control centre.
-
OK & HELP messages are then dispatched up to ten different contacts via email.
-
000/911 messages are dealt with by SPOT control centre & they contact the appropriate emergency services. Same as the latest EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons).
When Spot sends a message to one of your contacts or to an Emergency Response Centre, it includes your exact coordinates and web link to view your location using Google Maps.
